Applications are invited for three fully funded, five-year PhD positions within the ERC Starting Grant project “The Platformization of Music: Towards a Global Theory” at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, coordinated by the Principal Investigator, dr. Robert Prey.

The focus is on how music streaming and social media platforms are changing the working conditions and creative practices of musicians.

The PhDs will focus on either South Korea, Nigeria, or the Netherlands.
